Jeff Scott serves as the executive director of the Knox County Foundation, a role he has held since July 2020. In this capacity, he leads the foundation’s mission to enhance the local quality of life through strategic charitable giving, grant distribution and community endowment growth.

Prior to leading the foundation, Jeff spent more than six years as the director of marketing and development at Knox Community Hospital. During his tenure there, he successfully managed comprehensive marketing initiatives and oversaw philanthropic development for the hospital’s foundation. His earlier professional background also includes serving as the director of communications at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Jeff has an extensive history of regional community service. He is a past board member and chairman of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce and has previously served on the board of the Knox County United Way.

Jeff relocated to Ohio in 2011 and resides in Mount Vernon with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children. We are very fortunate to bring his deep expertise in nonprofit administration, fundraising, and community development to our board.
