The Alumni Holiday Celebration is a festive holiday gathering open to COTC alumni and their guests held annually on the Newark campus in early December. Network with other alumni over hors d’oeuvres, holiday desserts and refreshments.

The event includes the presentation of the Outstanding Alumni Award, the Transitions Alumni Award and the John C. “Jay” Barker Community Service Award. Learn more about the alumni awards, nominate someone or view recipients.

The 2026 Alumni Holiday Celebration will be held on Dec. 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the John Gilbert Reese Center. Please register by Nov. 23, 2026.

In the spirit of the holidays, you’re invited to bring gently used professional clothing items to donate to the Licking/Knox Goodwill Professional Closet program. This partnership provides clothing vouchers to COTC and Ohio State Newark students who are preparing for job interviews, career fairs, and internships.
