    Solicitation for feedback: HLC Assurance Argument Draft Report

    COTC is preparing for a visit from its regional accreditor, The Higher Learning Commission, in December of this year. In preparation for the visit, the college must prepare a report that assures the commission that the college continues to meet the criteria for accreditation/quality standards. You are invited to provide feedback on the draft of the report during the open review period that runs from September 12, 2014, through September 26, 2014.

    The women’s volleyball team of Central Ohio Technical (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark have high expectations for the 2014 season. Conference play begins on September 10, 2014 at Ohio State Mansfield.

    Governor Recognizes COTC’s Lifelong Learning Institute

    Bonnie Kantor-Burman, Ohio Department of Aging director, presented a special commendation from Governor John R. Kasich to the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) of Central Ohio Technical College (COTC). COTC President Bonnie L. Coe, Ph.D., accepted the recognition in front of 50 members of the LLI at its welcome back celebration on August 21, 2014 at COTC’s Pataskala campus.

    Central Ohio Technical College is seeking nominations for the 2014 Outstanding Alumni Award, which will be presented at the Alumni Holiday Reception on December 3rd. The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 24th.

    Central Ohio Technical College Seeking Public Comments

    Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The College will host a visit December 8 and 9, 2014, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
