    The Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) of Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is holding a celebration to welcome both current members and those interested in learning more about the organization on Thursday, August 21, from 10 am to 12 pm at the COTC Pataskala Campus. Erika Taylor, LLI Steering Committee Chair, will provide introductory comments and Bonnie L. Coe, Ph.D., COTC President, will also be speaking.

    The field of nursing is dynamic and the job market is still solid in our region and beyond, according to Sandra Walker, dean of health sciences at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC). “Practical nursing is a great place to start in the field with an expanding job market, partly due to our population living longer and requiring long-term care,” she added.

    Scholarship Applications Sought by COTC Coshocton Campus

    Residents of Coshocton County have a unique opportunity for scholarship funds at Central Ohio Technical College’s (COTC) Coshocton campus. The Miller Scholars’ program, named for its benefactors Clarence and Grace Miller of Coshocton and administered by the Coshocton Foundation, is accepting applications for the 2014-15 academic year. The program was developed to remove economic barriers and help students reach their educational goals at the Coshocton campus of COTC.

    Central Ohio Technical College currently offers a full schedule of classes for its Engineering Technology program at the Newark Campus. Now the successful program is growing and several of these same classes are being offered at the Knox, Coshocton and Pataskala campuses.
