WHAT IS DUAL ADMISSION?
Dual admission allows students to be enrolled both at COTC and another college or university at the same time. This allows students to take advantage of programs and services such as library privileges, advising, and academic support at both institutions, while seamlessly earning both an associate’s degree and a bachelor’s degree.
REASONS TO CHOOSE DUAL ADMISSION
-
Academic support services at both schools (tutoring, library, advising);
-
-
Student activities (athletics, career counseling);
-
-
Attainment of a bachelor’s seamlessly and at a lower cost;
-
-
Collaborative arrangement of financial aid;
-
-
Programs that lead to professional advancement;
-
-
Small classes with quality faculty.

Partnerships with 4-Year Institutions
What is an Articulation Agreement?
Many Ohio four year colleges and universities will afford the COTC student the opportunity to transfer most if not all of their COTC credit course work into an established program at the four year institution. An articulation agreement between COTC and a four year institution is a guarantee to the COTC student that specific coursework taken at COTC will enable that student to be granted transfer credit into a particular program at the four year institution. For more information on Articulation Agreements with our 4-Year Partnership Institions, click here, or click on the link "Higher Ed. Partnerships Home" in the blue window on the left.
