Overview

This certificate is available only to registered cardiac sonographers (RDCS or RCS) and COTC students currently enrolled in the cardiovascular major of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology. This short-term certificate allows sonographers and sonography students to quickly upskill or advance their careers as electrocardiography (EKG) technicians. You will learn how to interpret and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs) and, upon completion, are eligible to take the Certified EKG Technician (CET) certification exam.

By completing this course, you:

  • earn how to interpret and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs)
  • are eligible to take the Certified EKG Technician (CET) certification exam
