Central Ohio Technical College is poised to

Credit to Your Company.
This program enables employers to utilize the resources of the college
to offer college credit workforce training to employers at their own
facility. A convenient location and cutting edge technical training will

On-Campus Services
For students
interested in taking coursework on the campus of Central Ohio Technical
College, much of the preliminary paperwork can be completed over the
phone or at the site of business by an admissions representative. Employees
may not have to travel to campus until their class begins.

Personalized Attention
Regular appointments to meet with groups of
employees can be easily arranged. COTC realizes that
when considering college coursework, there are a lot of questions to
address. Prior to
quarterly registration, a representative from the admissions office can
be available to talk with prospective students to discuss any concerns
that they may have.

Success Stories
from Area Business & Industry
DANA CORPORATION, Fredericktown
When the
employees from Dana Corporation began exploring the possibility of college,
they did not expect the process would be so easy. Over the course of the
past four years, a group of Dana students have been working their way
through an associate degree in business management without ever leaving
their company. Each quarter a new course is offered on-site at the Dana
location. Registration, fee payment, and book sales are also provided
at the company.
OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT FIVE HEADQUARTERS, Jacksontown
Employees
of the Ohio Department of Transportation take part in coursework both
at the campus of Central Ohio Technical College and at the ODOT District
Five Headquarters in Jacksontown, Ohio. Registration and fee payment for
those choosing to come to campus is provided prior to each quarter at
employees' worksite. Multiple students needing common coursework have
enjoyed the convenience of COTC bringing classes to them. Thus far, Introduction
to the Personal Computer, Introduction to Geometry, and Introduction to
Algebra have been offered on-site at the District Five Headquarters.
AE COLE, Columbus
Ron Lohrman,
apprenticeship director and shop foreman at AE Cole, is a former COTC
student. His positive experience has led him to include COTC coursework
as a part of the program his tool & machine apprenticeship employees
complete. Students travel to campus each quarter to take part in a variety
of coursework. Registration is provided for the employees on-site at AE
Cole.
