Statement of Purpose |

The purpose of the
Electromechanical Engineering Technology program is to produce
technically trained personnel who understand both the mechanical and
electrical aspects of automated systems. These technicians will play
a key role in many aspects of today’s highly automated industrial
environment. |

Learning Outcomes
|
|

|
At the completion of
the Electromechanical Engineering Technology plan of study the
student will be able to: |

Analyze basic DC,
AC, analog and digital circuits at the component level. |
|
2. |
Use, maintain, and
troubleshoot the current technology used in the monitoring and
control of the industrial processes. |

3. |
Demonstrate
knowledge and safe use of industrial electrical and mechanical
components and systems used in today’s modern manufacturing
facilities. |

4. |
Communicate orally
and in writing with colleagues and customers. |
|
5. |
Solve and critically
analyze problems individually and collaboratively. |

Demonstrate
responsibility and professionalism and develop lifelong learning
skills. |
