COTC Academics - Accreditation         

ACCREDITATION AND MEMBERSHIPS

Central Ohio Technical College is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission  (Address:  30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL  60602-2504; Phone:  312-263-0456; Fax:  312-263-7462).

The Nursing Technology associate degree program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing.  The Radiographic Technology program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiographic Technology.  The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology program is approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.  The Surgical Technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs through the Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology.  The Criminal Justice Technology programs in Law Enforcement is approved by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council.  The Practical Nursing certificate program is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Memberships

Central Ohio Technical College is a member of the Higher Learning Commission, the American Association for Higher Education, the American Association of Community Colleges, the American Council on Education, the American Technical Education Association, Inc., the National League for Nursing, the Ohio Association of Two-Year Colleges, the Ohio College Association, the Ohio Two-Year College Placement Association, and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.  COTC programs qualify for Veterans Administration benefits.
