NEWARK, Ohio, May 19, 2020 —The Workforce Development Innovation Center(WDIC) at Central Ohio Technical College is offering several free online training sessions through live interactive sessions via Zoom.
Lean Processes for Every Work Environment— This two-hour session highlights important efficiency concepts for optimizing processes regardless of industry or work setting. This training is ideal for those looking to learn more about minimizing waste in processes, using as few resources as possible and encouraging continuous improvement within the operation. Everyone from management team members, office and administration staff and front-line workforce will benefit. Team members who are new to leadership or aspiring to a leadership role will also find this training valuable. This course will help all focus on reducing and eliminating waste to develop process improvements that are efficient and continuous.
Leading Effective Virtual Meetings — This two-hour session guides participants on how to lead productive meetings that engage teams in a virtual work environment. This workshop will include a brief pre-work assignment with thought-starter questions.
Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification — This industry-recognized certification training is highly valuable for front-line, future or new managers/leaders, and anyone who is new to adapting to or adopting the Continuous Improvement Environment protocols. This four-hour course will be broken into two different two-hour classes.
