NEWARK, Ohio, April 18, 2018—The Workforce Development Innovation Center (WDIC) at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is accepting registration for the ServSafe® Manager's Certification Course, which will be held at the COTC Coshocton campus Monday, May 7 through Thursday, May 10, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This certification course was developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and is a detailed study of food safety procedures and prevention of food-borne illnesses. This hazard analysis and critical control points based course provides successful participants with national, state and local recognition as certified in food safety. The online certification exam will be administered at the conclusion of the May 10 class; computers will be provided for exam completion.
The investment of $229 per participant (or a team of up to six for a group rate of $1,149) includes the training, all materials, the exam fee and refreshments. A 30-minute lunch break will be allotted daily. If a participant is not successful in the first examination attempt, there is an option to re-test with the purchase of another exam seat voucher with guided facilitation.
