NEWARK, Ohio, Oct. 2, 2018 – Members of the public are invited to attend an upcoming academic program showcase at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) to learn about the two-year college's career-driven academics leading to in-demand jobs. COTC offers more than 45 associate degree and certificate programs in healthcare, engineering technology, public services and safety, business and information technology, and transfer degrees in arts and sciences. Participants will have an opportunity to meet with faculty and admissions representatives and participate in hands-on activities related to different fields. Refreshments provided.

Fourteen of COTC's academic programs are on Ohio Means Jobs' 2018 in-demand occupational outlook list. Nearly $1 million in scholarships are available to COTC students annually. About 500 students are awarded scholarships each year—the average award amount of $2,000 almost pays for one full-time semester at COTC.
