The Institute for Public Services and Safety at Central Ohio Technical College offers a one-year Emergency Medical Services Paramedic Certificate for students interested in becoming certified paramedics.
New classes are forming autumn semester 2016 at the Pataskala campus and spring semester 2017 at the Knox campus.
Daytime classes will be held at the Pataskala campus beginning August 23, 2016. To participate in this cohort students must take the COMPASS placement test and complete two prerequisite courses, Medical Terminology and Human Biology, during summer semester 2016. Summer semester begins May 16, 2016.
Classes will be held in the evenings at the Knox campus beginning January 9, 2017. To participate in this cohort students must take the COMPASS placement test and complete two prerequisite courses, Medical Terminology and Human Biology, during autumn semester 2016. Autumn semester begins August 23, 2016.
