NEWARK, Ohio, August 22, 2019 – Central Ohio Technical College and The Ohio State University at Newark will host the 6th annual Licking County Public Safety Day on Saturday, September 28, noon-4 p.m. All members of the public are invited to attend this free family-friendly event, which will include:
- K-9 unit demonstrations
- hands-on children's activities
- bounce houses
- child safety seat inspections
- police cruisers, fire trucks, emergency response and tactical vehicles
- free refreshments
The event will be held outside the campus's John L. and Christine Warner Library and Student Center at 1219 University Drive, Newark.
All Licking County public safety organizations are encouraged to participate by emailing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
