NEWARK, Ohio, December 16, 2014 — Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) will hold its autumn 2014 commencement ceremony on Friday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Adena Hall gymnasium on the COTC Newark campus.
A total of 200 graduates are eligible to receive associate degrees and certificates. COTC President Bonnie L. Coe, Ph.D., will preside over the ceremony.
The commencement address will be delivered by Minister Charles U. Finklea, B.S. Finklea is currently employed at Park National Bank and also serves as the Director of Youth Development Ministries at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Newark, Ohio.
Finklea earned an Associate of Applied Business degree at COTC in 2009, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Alternative Hermeneutics from Denison University in 2013. He is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Ashland Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He currently resides in Newark.
