What We Do:

The Math Learning Center specialist and trained math tutors, (including full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, and students), are available to answer individual math questions on a one-on-one basis.  Students can work on textbook problems or work online using the lab’s laptop computers.  These services are available on a drop-in basis at no cost to the student. The Math Learning Center has many supplementary resources available as well - videotaped lectures, solutions manuals, math handouts, workshops on video, information on math anxiety and math study skills, and various math reference books. 
 

What We Provide:

  • calculators to use when in the Math Learning Center
    • loaner calculators are now available at the Circulation Desk in the library
  • laptop computers on which people can work 
  • pay-to-print capability 
  • drop-in sessions with qualified consultants (tutors) 
  • many supplementary resources
 
 
In addition to the Math Learning Center, there are numerous other services provided by the Center for Student Success, including:
  • the Communications Resource Center (CRC)
  • the Tutoring Center
  • the Learning Skills Specialist.
Please ask a consultant (tutor) for more information regarding any of these services.
