Life Insurance

A variety of life insurance options are available to protect faculty and staff, their same-sex domestic partners and their dependents. The college purchases Group Term Life insurance for eligible faculty and staff. Employees can also choose to purchase additional insurance for themselves, spouses and/or dependents at group rates.

Group Term Life Insurance (GTLI) - College-paid life insurance for eligible faculty and staff.  This benefit is provided by the college as an affiliated member of The Ohio State University.

Dependent Group Life Insurance (DGLI) - Additional life insurance eligible employees may purchase for their spouses, same-sex domestic partners and/or children at group rates.  This benefit is provide by the college as an affiliated member of The Ohio State University.

Voluntary Group Term Life Insurance (VGTLI) - Additional life insurance eligible employees may purchase for themselves, their spouses and their children at group rates.  The college currently offers VGTLI though please contact the Office of Human Resouces for enrollment information.
