A variety of life
insurance options are available to protect faculty and
staff, their same-sex domestic partners and their
dependents. The college purchases Group Term Life insurance
for eligible faculty and staff. Employees can also choose to
purchase additional insurance for themselves, spouses and/or
dependents at group rates.
Group Term Life
Insurance
(GTLI) - College-paid life insurance for eligible
faculty and staff. This benefit is provided by the
college as an affiliated member of The Ohio State
University.
Dependent Group Life
Insurance
(DGLI) - Additional life insurance eligible employees
may purchase for their spouses, same-sex domestic
partners and/or children at group rates. This
benefit is provide by the college as an affiliated
member of The Ohio State University.
Voluntary Group Term
Life Insurance (VGTLI) - Additional
life insurance eligible employees may purchase for
themselves, their spouses and their children at group
rates. The college currently offers VGTLI though
