Steven Cohen - Board MemberSteven Cohen is president of Screen Machine Industries located in Etna, Ohio.  He is responsible for overall operations of a business that designs and manufactures large, track mounted, remote controlled portable screening and crushing equipment for the mining and construction industries.  His company sells equipment worldwide and is a past recipient of the Export Achievement Award presented by the U. S. Department of Commerce, and the Governors' Excellence in Exporting Award from the State of Ohio.

Mr. Cohen joined Screen Machine Industries after graduating from The Ohio State University in 1984 with a degree focused on Marketing and Comm​unications.   Although he feels his strength is in Management and Marketing, his participation in new machinery designs has been rewarded with two U. S. patents as inventor.   He has held several positions within the company including Production Manager, Sales Manager and Vice President, before becoming President and CEO in 1998.  He recently had the honor of representing his Company and the Community speaking primetime at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa.​

He is serving or has served recently on several boards including The OSU Hillel Foundation as treasurer, BalletMet Columbus, The Pataskala Advisory Board of Central Ohio Technical College as chairman, Licking County Chamber of Commerce as director, and Licking County Manufacturer's Council as chairman, amongst others.  He and his wife Wendy have been married for 25 years and have two daughters.
