Institutional Research

The office is responsible for the statistical and analytical work associated with the collection, review, analyses, distribution and presentation of college information. The office conducts and analyzes survey instruments, such as the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) and Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE), and is responsible for the data submission for the National Community College Benchmarking Project (NCCBP).

Members of the office serve on a number of internal committees to provide research support.

Institutional Effectiveness

Institutional effectiveness relates to the extent to which an institution achieves its missions and goals. This is done through a continual process of planning and outcomes assessment for the purpose of documenting that Central Ohio Technical College is achieving its mission and goals and continuously improving its programs and services.
