Central Ohio Technical College is determined to improve the skills of our workforce to increase Ohio's economic development and competitive edge. The WDIC fits neatly with COTC’s mission to meet the technical education and training needs of students and employers in the area.     

  • This new unit is fully integrated with college’s academic division, providing:  
  •   
  • Customized contract training (not-for-college credit)
  • Customized training for college credit
  • College also will review past training and life experience for college credit
  • Cost-effective, innovative solutions to specific business challenges
  • Technical skills training (from multicraft to arc flash) to soft skills (leadership, communication skills and critical thinking) 
  • Support for entrepreneurial needs
  • Developing stackable certificates that lead to degree completion

    The WDIC also offers INDABA Leadership Development e-Training.  These courses are designed to provide immediate implementation of the material learned.
