The best possibility for success begins with a well-written grant proposal. The attached form was created to help you further develop your idea and to define the critical and common elements required in most grant applications. Completion of this form will dramatically expedite the grant application process.
Grant Application Process
Step 1. Complete the Project Concept Form.
Step 2. Submit the completed Project Concept Form, signed by the Immediate Supervisor, along with any necessary attachments to the Department of Government Relations and Grants.
Step 3. A project concept meeting will be called by the Director of Government Relations and Grants and appropriate Cabinet Member (optional).
Step 4. Project Concept Form will be circulated to:
Office of Business and Finance
Appropriate Cabinet Member
Director of Development
Step 5. Included in Cabinet Meeting agenda for discussion.
Step 6. Grant submitted for approval. Copies of final proposal provided by the Department of Government Relations
and Grants to the Office of the President and the Office of Business and Finance.
Step 7. Timeline and checklist established by Department of Government Relations and Grants.
Step 8. Final grant application routed for signature approval.
